The High Commissioner for Anti-corruption has the responsibility to prevent and fight corruption and other forms of illegality in public administration.


• It initiates investigations into suspected or reported cases of corruption
• It processes analysis and carries out studies to prevent the evolution of illegal activities
• It monitors contractual proceedings and public expenditure in order to prevent damage to the public purse

Reports of irregularities may be sent:

• by ordinary post,  to the Office of the High Commissioner for Anti-corruption, piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina, 4  - 00186 – Rome
• by e-mail, to accc@governo.it
• by fax, 06.67797865

Anonymous reports will not be followed up. For this reason it is necessary to provide some requisite personal data, that will be treated according to the State privacy laws.

A call operator will be available to take calls from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 1 pm.
