The Anac President, Giuseppe Busia in Amman for the International Day against Corruption

At the invitation of His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, the Anac President, Giuseppe Busia, travelled to Jordan from 7 to 9 December 2025 to participate in the celebration of the International Day against Corruption in Amman and the launch of the 2026-2030 National Integrity Strategy.
"High-Level Dialogue on Accountability and Transparency in the Public Sector for Enhancing Citizen-Centred Service Delivery": this was the title of the conference held during the OECD mission, in which President Busia participated, taking part in a roundtable discussion with international experts.

“The launch of the National Integrity and Anti-Corruption Strategy 2026-2030 is a significant step towards strengthening the integrity ecosystem in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan- stated President Busìa -. This is not just a national strategy, but also a public commitment to measurable transparency indicators, equitable development and governance placing citizen trust at the heart of reforms".

"This event is especially significant because it demonstrates the Nation’s ability to align with the best international standards. It strengthens cooperation with global partners, such as the United Nations and the OECD, and consolidates the Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission’s role as a driver of change. Launching and celebrating this strategy means, above all, investing in the future by creating more resilient institutions, a competitive and accountable private sector, and a civil society aware that integrity is not an option, but a precondition for prosperity, stability, and social peace”.
