Italy and Korea are united in the fight against corruption
On 27 November 2025, a delegation from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) of the Republic of Korea visited the headquarters of Anac in Rome.
Composed of Eungtai Kim (Director General of the Bureau of Reporting, Examination and Whistleblower Protection), Yongsik Kim (Deputy Director of Whistleblower Protection) and Seongsoon Eem (Assistant Director of Corruption Status Surveys), the Korean mission described the Commission's activities within the Korean institutional system.
Anac President Giuseppe Busìa welcomed the delegation and described the distinctive features of the Italian model of corruption prevention and the Authority's functions, with a particular focus on measuring corruption and whistleblowing. The guests expressed great interest in these topics and reiterated their intention to continue bilateral and multilateral cooperation with Anac.
The meeting was also attended by Lorenza Ponzone, head of Anac’s International Relations Office, Giuseppe Abbatino, International Relations Office, Carmine Morrone, whistleblowing office, and Emanuele Gabrielli, expert on ICT platform for whistleblowing.
