On Friday 29 November 2024, the University of Catania will host the meeting "Public Contracts and Artificial Intelligence", organised by the Faculty of Law with the patronage of Anac, Sna (National School of Administration) and the Study and Training Office for Administrative Justice. The conference will be held in the Aula Magna of the University's Central Building (Piazza Università, 2) and is scheduled to begin at 10.30 am.
The President of the National Anti-Corruption Authority, Giuseppe Busia, will take part in the event, speaking on "The new frontiers of transparency and the challenges of artificial intelligence for public procurement" during the morning session, which will start at 11 a.m. and will be coordinated by Sna Vice-President Remo Morzenti Pellegrini.
The day will be opened by the Rector of the University of Catania, Francesco Priolo, the President of the Sicilian Regional Assembly, Gaetano Galvagno, the Mayor of Catania, Enrico Trantino, the Prefect of Catania, Maria Carmela Librizzi, the President of the Catania Section of the Sicilian Regional Administrative Court, Pancrazio Maria Savasta, the Director of the Faculty of Law of the University of Catania, Salvatore Zappalà, and the President of the Catania Bar Association, Antonino Guido Distefano.
The second session will start at 15.30. It will also be possible to follow the proceedings remotely.
