New European anti-corruption directive: international conference in Rome, Thursday 10 October 2024
“Preventing corruption in Europe: a new perspective”.
This is the title of the important International Conference which will take place on Thursday 10 October 2024, in Rome, at the Temple of Hadrian in Piazza di Pietra, with the new European anti-corruption directive at the center of the discussion.
The event, hosted by the Italian National Anti-Corruption Authority, will see the presence of important European representatives of governments, institutions, the academic world and civil society to discuss and debate the issue, in order to identify innovative and effective strategies to be pursued at European and national level.
It will also include the annual plenary meeting of the European Network for Public Ethics (Enpe), a network that today brings together eighteen authorities from EU Member States active in the field of corruption prevention and acts as a privileged interlocutor of the European institutions on integrity issues, transparency and public ethics.
The conference, with international speakers from the Eu, Oecd, Transparency International and other institutions, will bring together representatives of the Italian public sector, civil society, academia and anti-corruption authorities to discuss how we can make our actions to promote integrity and to reaffirm the network's support for the European Commission’s key initiatives in the field of preventive policies against corruption.
