Anac in Brussels for the launch of the ‘Public Procurement Network’ PPN
Anac delegation in Brussels on Monday 20 January 2025 for the inaugural event of the Public Procurement Network (PPN).
The PPN is an informal network of institutions from EU countries whose aim is to promote cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and best practices in the field of public procurement. Fifteen countries have joined the network (Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Romania, Sweden).
The project foresees the use of a European Commission IT platform “Big Buyers Platform”, which will be used to collect information and documents from PPN member countries. For the year 2025, ANAC will be the coordinator of the network together with the Portuguese authority IMPIC.
The 20 January event in Brussels was attended by Giuseppe Busìa, President of the National Anti-Corruption Authority, Lorenza Ponzone, Head of the Authority's International Relations Department, and Silvia Pomes, International Relations Officer, together with Giampaolo Sellitto.
