Introduzione
L’A.N.AC. i giorni 9 e 10 giugno 2014 ha partecipato ai lavori del gruppo di lavoro G20 anticorruzione (ACWG G20) che si è riunito a Roma, e il giorno 11 giugno 2014 alla Conferenza internazionale G20/OCSE sull’Anti-Corruzione “Fourth Annual High-Level Anti-Corruption Conference for G20 Governments and Business”.
L’Autorità ha fornito il contributo, in termini di contenuti sulle materie di propria competenza, ai lavori preparatori degli incontri e ha predisposto delle proposte di iniziative internazionali sul tema della corruzione che l’Italia ha presentato alla presidenza dell’ ACWG G20 perché possano essere introdotte nell’Action Plan G20 2015-2016 per il contrasto della corruzione.
Il 10 giugno il Presidente dell’A.N.AC., Raffaele Cantone, è intervenuto nella sessione della riunione ACWG G20 dedicata alle Anti-Corruption Authorities, confrontandosi con rappresentanti di autorità anticorruzione di altri Paesi del G20 e con esponenti dell’UNODC, l’agenzia dell’ONU che tra gli altri temi si occupa di prevenzione del crimine e del contrasto alla corruzione.
Il giorno 11 giugno, nel corso della Conferenza internazionale G20/OCSE e della “special session on the global fight against foreign bribery”, il Presidente dell’A.N.AC, il Presidente di Transparency International Mrs. Huguette Labelle e Mrs. Gabriela Ramos, Chief of Staff & Sherpa G20 dell’OCSE, sono stati intervistati da Jesse Eisinger editorialista di ProPublica e del New York Times.
I temi trattati dal Presidente dell’A.N.AC negli interventi del 10 e 11 giugno, sintetizzati nel documento allegato, hanno riguardato il contesto della prevenzione e contrasto della corruzione in Italia, il quadro normativo vigente, le criticità e le prospettive del sistema dell’anticorruzione, l’evoluzione del fenomeno corruttivo, il legame tra corruzione e criminalità organizzata, le tangenti internazionali.

A.N.AC. participation to the meeting of the G20 Anti-corruption working group, June 9th-10th, Rome and to the Anti-corruption G20 Conference, June 11th, Rome.
On June 9th and 10th, 2014, the Italian National Anti-Corruption Authority (A.N.AC.) took part to the G20 Anti-corruption working group (ACWG G20) that met in Rome and on June 11th, 2014, to the International Conference G20/OECD on the Anti-Corruption “Fourth Annual High-Level Anti-Corruption Conference for G20 Governments and Business”.
The Authority has provided a contribution, on the subjects within its competence, to the preparatory works of the meetings and has prepared some proposals of international initiatives on the issue of corruption that has been submitted by Italy to the ACWG G20 Presidency so that they could be introduced in the G20 Anti-Corruption Action Plan 2015-2016.
On June 10th A.N.AC. President, Raffaele Cantone, intervened in the session of the ACWG G20 meeting dedicated to the Anti-Corruption Authorities, together with representatives of the anti-corruption authorities of other G20 countries and with representatives of UNODC, the United Nations Office that among other issues deals with the prevention of crime and the fight against corruption.
On June 11th, during the International Conference G20/OECD and the "special session on the global fight against foreign bribery," A.N.AC. President, the Chair of Transparency International MRS. Huguette Labelle and Mrs. Gabriela Ramos, OECD Chief of Staff and Sherpa to the G20, were interviewed by Jesse Eisinger senior reporter at ProPublica, and columnist for the New York Times.
The topics covered by A.N.AC. President in the speeches of June 10th and 11th, as summarized in the attached document, were related to the context of the prevention and fight against corruption in Italy, the current regulatory framework, the criticalities and prospects of the anti-corruption system, the evolution of the phenomenon of corruption, the link between corruption and organized crime, international bribery.
